Connection is a community project. Creativity helps.

Well-being doesn’t happen only in therapy sessions. It grows through accessible conversations, supportive relationships, and places where people can make, reflect, learn, and belong.

Creative experiences with purpose

Inspired by the potential of expressive arts in community engagement, Mosaic develops approachable, participatory experiences focused on emotional well-being, resilience, connection, and education. Activities are adjusted to the setting, ages, accessibility needs, and goals of the group.

Caregiver and chronic illness communities

Creativity and Connection Circles

Guided experiences for listening, expressive art, and thoughtful conversation tailored to a group’s developmental and cultural context.

Who we hope to partner with

Schools, libraries, family organizations, senior communities, assisted living programs, healthcare practices, caregiver networks, nonprofits, and community arts groups in Sarasota and surrounding areas, as well as virtual groups where appropriate.

Each partnership can be shaped around a specific audience, setting, and goal, with attention to accessibility and culturally responsive participation.

How a collaboration takes shape

1. Listen and define the need

What would be useful for this group, and what participation barriers should we address?

2. Design a fitting experience

Agree on learning aims, audience, duration, facilitator roles, materials, accessibility, and any fees.

3. Gather, make, and connect

Facilitate an inviting activity with room for different comfort levels, skill sets, and ways of participating.

4. Reflect on what matters

Capture practical takeaways and ideas for continued community support.

Wellness workshops and psychotherapy are different: Community events are educational or supportive group experiences unless expressly arranged and consented to as clinical services. Participation is voluntary, and sensitive personal disclosure is never a requirement.

Have a group or idea in mind?

From a library art table to a healthcare team workshop, we’re interested in partnerships that make emotional well-being more approachable.
